Tuesday 30th May from 10am-4pm
Students will be invited to take part in this work-experience; the day will include employability skills workshops, Q&A sessions with the KPMG colleagues and also work-style challenges. Participants will receive a certificate of completion too.

Year 9 and year 10 students are eligible for this opportunity, for a 3 day course over May half term.
Routes information for parents: This is an innovative 3-day course which provides young people with an understanding of the amazing opportunities offered by STEM based careers (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). The course allows your child to engage with a college, a university and a STEM company who have put together an interesting agenda to showcase STEM courses, apprenticeships, degrees and careers, giving your child the best chance to make informed decisions and to meet role models.
Day 1: Newcastle College – Tuesday 30th May 2023
Day 2: Northumbria University– Wednesday 31st May 2023
Day 3: Capita – Thursday 1st June 2023

Cost The course costs £165, however there are some bursaries available where cost is a barrier.
Lunch & travel arrangements
Students are responsible for their own daily travel. Lunch is sometimes provided for the course and this will be confirmed along with all other details in the Course Joining Instructions.
