The house system at St Thomas More Catholic School incorporates the pastoral system. There are 8 pastoral classes in each year all named after one of the four houses. For example the houses that would exist for year 7 would be; 7CL1, 7CL2, 7B1, 7B2, 7JF1, 7JF2, 7T1 and 7T2. The initials in the middle of these correspond to a house that the pastoral and all its students belong to.

With a “quiet dignity” and the Catholic Faith at the heart of everything we do, we in St Catherine Labouré House
endeavour to support, educate and inspire students to become confident young adults who will revel in the challenges within modern day society.
We want our students to develop curiosity, imagination and confidence in themselves. We want them to be compassionate, caring and thoughtful of others.
We want them to think and problem solve, as well as develop independence and personal and social responsibility.
In short we want them to aspire to be the best versions of themselves.
St John Fisher finished the 2020/21 school year in 4th place with 17700 points!
Head of House – Mr A Young:
As Head of St. John Fisher House it’s my pleasure to welcome you to our House. As a House we pride ourselves on always giving our very best in whatever we do. It’s no surprise therefore that so many members of our House go on to achieve incredible things, be that in our school work or the many extra-curricular areas of the school including the arts, drama, music and sport.
The life and example of St. John Fisher challenges us to stand up for what is right no matter the circumstance. As such in our House we pride ourselves on polite and respectful behaviour. As a team of staff we endeavour to develop young people who are happy, confident and eager to contribute whether to the life of our school or to our families, parishes and communities.
We know that our children can achieve their best when the adults in their life work together to support them. As such we’re always happy to hear from their parents and carers if there is any way we can help.
