Family Engagement Opportunities
At St Thomas More, we believe that families are an integral part of our school community. We want families to feel supported, their voices heard, and their needs met.
Each year, we publish our annual Family Engagement Opportunities, which include a wide range of events and sessions designed to involve families in school life and support their child’s learning. These include:
- Whole school events such as Open Evenings, school performances, and shows
- Coffee mornings for families of pupils with SEND or vulnerable learners
- Subject-specific coffee mornings, for example Year 11 Maths and English support
- The Annual Meet the Tutor Evening
- Curriculum Support Evenings
- A schedule of virtual family support sessions
- Welcome Masses at the start of the year
We encourage families to attend as many of these opportunities as possible to gain a full understanding of the support available and engage with the school community.
