Enrichment
Our Enrichment Programme is designed to enhance the educational experience of every pupil, ensuring that they leave St Thomas More Catholic School as confident, compassionate and well-rounded young people, equipped with the knowledge, skills and character needed to thrive in further education, employment and adult life.
We recognise that potential is realised not only through academic achievement, but also through the wider opportunities and experiences that shape personal growth. Through our enrichment programme, we nurture pupils’ talents, interests and aspirations, enabling them to discover new passions, develop self-belief and broaden their understanding of the world around them.
Our Enrichment Programme is vast and encompasses a wide range of whole-school, year group, and optional enrichment activities, which are inclusive and accessible for all pupils. Pupils are recognised and rewarded for their participation and engagement with our Enrichment programme through our Enrichment Rewards Programme. Our whole-school and optional enrichment opportunities span the following five pathways:
As a school we offer a wide range of opportunities for all pupils across the five Enrichment Pathways. Alongside our whole school enrichment programme which seeks to uphold the traditions of our school community, we also offer bespoke enrichment experiences for each year group, intentionally planned to broaden the horizons of pupils as they move through school, spanning each of the Enrichment Key Concepts:

Our pupils are strongly encouraged to take on volunteering and leadership roles, such as Form Captain, Forum Representation, Faith in Action Award, Pop Up Leaders, Wellbeing Champions, as well as reading in school assemblies and school Mass.
In addition to these school-wide opportunities, we offer a robust optional Enrichment timetable, with up to 50 activities available each week.
