You are about to begin an important stage of your school journey. Over the next two years, you will study a range of examination courses that will lead to your first formal qualifications and prepare you for future success in the Sixth Form and beyond.

So far, you have studied a broad range of subjects as part of a balanced curriculum, giving you a solid foundation for the years ahead. In Key Stage 4, each subject follows a set specification and requires a specific amount of lesson time. This means it isn’t possible to study an unlimited number of subjects in Years 10 and 11. However, you will have the opportunity to express your preferences, and it is important to consider these choices carefully.
