Train to be a Teacher

St Thomas More Catholic School offers the opportunity to train to teach at both Secondary level, and Primary with one of the Primary schools as part of the Bishop Wilkinson Multi Academy Trust. The School Direct Secondary Programme is accredited by Newcastle University and Sacred Heart Newcastle SCITT.

Each school has extensive experience of working with student teachers, and can provide excellent school placement opportunities in schools with exceptionally good student behaviour and outstanding practice in Teaching and Learning.
