The School Day

The school operates on a two week timetable, with five lessons each day.

The school day starts at 08:45, students should aim to be on site by 08:30 each day.   

The main school gates will be closed at 08:40 and any pupils arriving after this time will enter school via the ‘late gate’ and will be classed as late and will be required to attend a 30 minute detention that night.

Any pupils arriving after 09:00 will enter via reception and be required to attend a one hour detention that night.

On a Monday to Thursday, the school offers a homework club to all students, this runs until 18:00.

All students record their timetable in their school diary and should carry this with them at all times.  For families, timetables can be accessed through the My Child at School app.

Students attend school for a total of 33 hours and 25 minutes per week as a minimum
