‘One Community’ at St Thomas More

Here at St Thomas More school our Mission Statement is the inspiration behind all that we do as a community. We believe that all people have the right to be protected from any form of discrimination and we actively ensure all pupils are aware of the UK law on ‘Protected Characteristics’. Alongside this, pupils also learn about ‘British Values’ in their wider curriculum lessons and are given opportunities in school to deepen their understanding of them and live them out in school and beyond. In addition, pupils are taught about other Faiths in their wider curriculum lessons, pastoral sessions and in RE lessons across all Key Stages. 

We are proud of our inclusive community and we celebrate diversity amongst us. We embrace our duty and commitment to the development of our entire school community.
